The phenomenon of material being squeezed out of the feed opening.
It will reduce the production efficiency and cause harm to human body.
Reasons:
1. The size difference of the material to be broken is too big
When the size of the material to be broken is very different, it is easy to occur this phenomenon.
2. The material to be crushed is round and smooth
The friction force between the material and the two jaws is less than the upward force;
3. The width of the discharge opening is too large
The larger the width of the discharge opening of a jaw crusher of the same size, the more likely this phenomenon will occurred.(The upward force is formed by squeezing)
4. Severe wear of the jaw plate
During the crushing process, the material is in direct contact with the jaws, which causes friction. The more severe the wear of the jaw plate, the greater the possibility of this phenomenon.
5. Material force imbalance
The vertical force of the material to be broken in the crushing cavity is easily unbalanced, and this phenomenon is likely to occur under the actions of the upward force.
6. Long-term use of jaw crusher
The angle of the two jaws is greater than two times the friction angle after long time use, so that the friction force between the material and the jaw plate is not large enough to overcome the upward force of the crushing force, and the broken material is extruded under the action of the vertical upward force.
Solutions:
- Use suitable size crusher according to the condition of the material.
- Weld the guard plate above the feed opening of jaw crusher
- When the jaw plate is worn, it should be repaired or replaced with a new one in time.
- When the material size difference is too large, screening should be done first; the coarse jaw crusher should be pre-processed, and then the fine jaw crusher should be used for finishing.
- At the joint surface of the movable jaw and the movable jaw plate, add a wedge-shaped pad to reduce the angle of the two jaws to meet the angle of the two jaws less than two times the friction angle to eliminate the phenomenon of returning material.
- Weld the guard plate above the jaw crusher inlet to prevent the material from flying out of the inlet and endangering the operator’s personal safety. The operator must pay attention to safety after the return of material. (It is necessary to raise the feed opening and the jaw head guard at the same time)
